In this presentation we will cover what stress really is about, both physiologically and mentally, and how a whole system viewpoint on stress management is a more useful approach, also in managing life in general. We will also take a look on mind & body practices such as mindfulness and meditation, and see why the workings of our inner world is in the spot light for the modern human. Why is it that we are seeing an alarming need to integrate and renew initially an ancient practice to our busy modern lives? What can be some easy steps to introduce meditation to our lives so that our body and mind can better serve us and we can create more ease, calm, harmony and focus in our life.
About the Speaker: Mei Schulz is an educator (University of Oslo, practical pedagogical education, Bachelor in Social and Culture Sciences) and an entrepeneur within wellness, positive personal development and stress & life management. She works as a Yoga & Meditation Guide at Solstråla Studio (Røyken) that she runs on daily basis and hosts also other wellness related courses. She has worked as a teacher over a decade, served at a Women´s Shelter for women & children exposed to threats or violence and volunteered in several roles for the International Bahá´i Community and Red Cross.
